Overview
This patch was the first content I worked on at Double Eleven when I was a Junior Technical Designer. I was tasked with being the sole tech designer responsible for this event. This meant that I contributed in a number of ways: Concepting, pitching, designing, balancing and implementing the event.

Responsibilities

  • Initial prototyping and implementation of the event using Papyrus script.

  • Concepting and designing of the event alongside others during preproduction.

  • Tuning and balancing various factors within the event.

    • Enemy spawn rate.​

    • Amount of doors that needed to explode.

    • Amount of cargo required.

  • Responding to shareholder feedback in a timely manner.

  • Optimising the event scripts to ensure they wouldn't cause any issues for the server.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Assisting Quest Design with implementation of their quests.

  • Pitching and implementing a new modifier for our daily game mode.

    • Balancing and testing edge cases of the new mutation to ensure players wouldn't run into issues on launch.​

  • General playtesting and bug-fixing.
